We are delighted to announce that we have received a generous grant of £22,510 from the Welsh Government's Wales and Africa Grant Scheme.
The Wales and Africa grants scheme is a grant fund for community groups and organisations throughout Wales who work with partnerships in Sub Saharan Africa. The scheme enables community groups and organisations in Wales to access funding for small-scale projects that contribute to Wales’ delivery of UN Sustainable Development Goals and deliver benefits to Wales and Africa.
This grant will support our ongoing work at Faith School building latrines where we are working with a local team of engineers and workers to improve sanitation and hygiene for the students and staff.
We are grateful for the opportunity to continue to develop Faith School and make a positive impact on the lives of those in Uganda. Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far and made this possible as well as to Welsh Government for upskilling our team in Wales and Uganda.
